Are these medications proven weight loss treatments?
Ozempic, a GLP-1 Agonist, is a FDA-approved medication with demonstrable weight loss in years-long clinical studies for certain patients.
How do GLP-1 medications work?
Semaglutide (GLP-1) slows gastric emptying, increase satiety, and reduce the appetite, resulting in weight reduction.
How much weight can I expect to lose?
Our patients can expect to lose on average about 5-10 lbs a month. Patients will typically report seeing inches being lost before pounds. This is why we recommend for patients to continue the medication for at least one month. We recommend patients to measure chest, abdomen and waist on a weekly basis along with weight to see all the benefits of our weight loss program.
No, this program will be out of pocket for patients. We do accept FSA and HSA.
